Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Fun Island Resort is easily accessible via speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport. The journey takes 50 minutes and costs USD 165 per person.
We offer snorkelling, diving, fishing, motorized and non-motorized water sports, local island hopping, and city excursions for adventure enthusiasts. Fun prides itself on its dive centre where you learn to traverse waters. Fun house reef is a prime spot for snorkelers and divers with a throbbing marine life in the neighbourhood with reported sightings of seasonal majestic manta rays, sea turtles and friendly reef sharks in shallow water. Sunset fishing is quite popular among tourists and is a part of the Maldivian life. You set sail in the afternoon on a 'Dhoni' (traditional Maldivian boat) for some line fishing and possibly even some local singing to help with the catch. Your captain and crew will lead you to the best fishing spots in the atoll to help you catch your dinner. For fishing enthusiasts, try your hand at big game fishing where you are expected to catch, tag and release the fish.
