Rashu Hiyaa

The Rashu Hiyaa is a massive resort boasting 30 rooms to suit the needs of a variety of guests. Here’s a list of all the different kinds of rooms that you can book at Rashu Hiyaa: 

1. Deluxe Twin Room with beach view: This room has two large single beds that can accommodate up to three guests. It comes with a balcony and a view of the stunning beach. 
2. Deluxe Double Room with beach view: This room has a large double bed. The resort allows three people to sleep in this room. It also comes with a view of the beach. 
3. Deluxe Double Room with Balcony: This room also has a large double bed. It doesn’t have a beach view but does come along with a private balcony. 
4. Deluxe Twin Room with Balcony: This one has two single beds but can still accommodate three people. It comes with a balcony and a view of the hotel garden. 
5. Superior Double Room with Balcony: Like the Deluxe Double room, this room has a large double bed and can accommodate three guests. It comes with a balcony. 
6. Superior Twin Room with Balcony: The Superior Twin room has two single beds and can accommodate only two people, unlike the others. This also doesn’t have a beach view but comes with a balcony. 

Good news: the room service at this hotel is available all the time. You need not worry if you have a late-night urgent need. The staff at Rashu Hiyaa is always there to help you. The hotel also allows guests to check out late in case they have last-minute changes in their travel plans. So, you can stop dreading about being stranded in the streets in case you are past your check-out time.

How to reach

First, you should fly down to the Male Internal Airport. Dhiffushi is not very far from Male, hence, it is easy to travel from Male than from any other place. Again, since the Maldives basically consists of islands, you cannot take a land vehicle directly to any of the islands where the resorts are located. The best way to travel is by ferry or speedboat. Most tourists prefer speedboats as it cuts the journey by more than half, although, speedboat transfers are priced higher than regular ferries. 

You can take a jetty from the ferry point. Most ferries usually depart from the jetty point near the Maldives Monetary Authority. From there it would take you around 50 minutes to 1 hour to reach Dhiffushi. Booking a speedboat service in advance will go a long way in helping you. It is advisable to call both the hotel staff at Rusha Hiyaa and the speedboat service provider before you book the tickets. 

If you do not want the hassle, Rusha Hiyaa also offers an airport shuttle service. You need to separately speak to the hotel staff about this and they will arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off directly at the hotel.

Policies

In line with the travelling time from Male, the check-in time at the Rusha Hiyaa is around 2 P.M. The check-out time is around 12 noon. Don’t worry if you have children because the hotel has no age limit for children. However, you might have to ask for extra beds at a separate price if the already available beds are not enough. 

Pets are not allowed at the hotel. Smoking is also not allowed in the rooms; there is, however, a designated smoking area.
